Preparing for Xeequa 1.0 in Q1/08

Exiting times. We are moving our system piece by piece to our production system with many new features and a new architecture. The system may be sporadically not available between now and end of the year. While we managed to run our Beta 3 with zero down time and made changes on the fly we plan to make some major maintenance work and will turn of the system here and there.

The provocative statement I make based on my experience: Whether you go direct or indirect is not the question and both is a valid strategy. But mixing it up is killing you. The hybrid sales model is just not a strategy to become a leader and I prove it in the book multiple times with multiple examples.

Dell's direct model or Microsoft's indirect model - both is right but any mix will even kill global leaders (Compaq, IBM PC business, Computer Associates...)

Just got the ISBN number and it is available from online publisher lulu.com. It is available both as paperback and PDF to download. Living and breathing 'online' I just couldn't do it with a traditional publisher. Early Q1 it will also be available through Amazon.com and Barns & Nobel.
